Alezzandrini's syndrome

A very rare syndrome characterized by unilateral hearing loss, unilateral vitiligo (often involving the scalp and eyelashes), and ipsilateral retinal degeneration.

Piebaldism

A congenital and stable genetic disorder of melanocyte development, classically presenting with a white forelock (a patch of white hair on the scalp).

Post inflammatory hypopigmentation

Loss of pigment in the scalp skin and hair (poliosis) can occur after an inflammatory process like alopecia areata or shingles.

Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome

A multisystem autoimmune disorder targeting melanocytes, causing uveitis, neurologic signs, and cutaneous findings like vitiligo and patches of white hair (poliosis).

Waardenburg's syndrome

A genetic disorder with a characteristic combination of hearing loss and pigmentary abnormalities, including a white forelock.
