Seborrhoiec keratosis

An SK has a waxy, "stuck-on" appearance and can often be gently scraped, a texture very different from the smooth, fleshy surface of a compound nevus.

Viral wart

A wart is distinguished by its rough, verrucous surface and the presence of thrombosed capillaries (black dots), which are not features of a compound nevus.
