Presents as well-demarcated, atrophic, yellowish-brown plaques with prominent telangiectasias, often on the shins and strongly associated with diabetes mellitus.
Associated with venous insufficiency, presenting with pitting edema, hemosiderin staining (brown discoloration), and often located on the lower third of the leg.
