Also known as a cherry angioma, these are very common, small, bright red papules that appear in adulthood and do not involute.

Capillary haemangioma

Another term for a strawberry naevus (infantile hemangioma), referring to the same entity.

Pyogenic granuloma

A rapidly growing, friable, bright red papule that bleeds easily, often arising at a site of minor trauma, unlike the growth and involution cycle of a hemangioma.
