How do I keep a track of my isotretinoin dosage?
Isotretinoin is generally prescribed as a course of treatment over 6-12 months. The duration of treatment is influenced by the dose that you are taking and your body weight (see our previous post on isotretinoin treatment duration).
It is helpful to keep a record of what dose you are taking daily, whether you are getting side effects and how well the treatment is working. You can take photos on your phone, however it is is helpful to have all of the photos and information about dose changes in one place. This is where an app for recording your acne treatment can be helpful.
