Is Microneedling Safe for Rosacea?
Microneedling is a procedure that involves creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen production. Given that rosacea involves sensitive, inflammation-prone skin I would generally advise against either traditional microneedling or radiofrequency microneedling.
Safer protocols and aftercare
If rosacea is well-controlled and the primary concern is textural change non-ablative fractional lasers are safer treatments for improving texture with lower risk of triggering a rosacea flare.
